HISTORY

In the past, Rehemetsa farm was an inn farm located along an important winter road. Before Christmas, in 1926, the farm burned to the ground. As times and construction methods had changed, the living quarters and the rake had to be built separately in the buildings. The new residential building and barn were completed the same year, the barn the next. The tsarina’s granary has been preserved from the original building.

The tavern site was in use at least since 1793, later it was the post of the manor forester.

16 km to Tallinn, Saku town 3.5 km away, Nearby is a light traffic road that leads through Saku and Männik to Tallinn, in the other direction to Kiisale and Kurtnsa, where there is a kindergarten, primary school, various service providers and shops.
