STRONG GEOLOGICAL FOUNDATION

Geological surveys were completed in 2024, and full documentation is available.

Layer 2 consists of gravelly clayey moraine located at a depth of 0.50–0.55 m below ground level. The soil is beige-grey to dark grey, stiff to semi-hard, containing 20–25% gravel fraction. The thickness of this layer ranges from 1.45 to 2.10 m.

Layer 3 consists of gravel-rich sandy moraine located at approximately 0.45 m below ground level. The soil is light grey, medium-dense to dense, containing 30–35% gravel fraction. In the PA2 area, the layer occurs with a thickness of up to 1.85 m.

The lower part of the moraine complex (Layer 4) consists of dense to very dense gravelly sand containing approximately 60% coarse aggregate. This grey layer lies at a depth of 2.00–2.60 m below ground level and has been drilled to a thickness of up to 2.80 m, reaching aggregate penetration capacity.

According to regional geological data and nearby boreholes, the bedrock — Upper Ordovician Kahula limestone formation — lies approximately 4–6 m below ground level. The total thickness of the limestone deposit in the area is at least 30 m.

This strong and construction-suitable soil profile provides a reliable foundation for development and reduces construction risks.
